ASCI 2008 Scientific Meeting > Abstracts

ASCI 2008 invites abstracts of original contribution for oral and poster presentation.

All abstracts must be submitted by 15 February 2008. Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be considered.


	All abstracts must be submitted using the Abstract Submission Form , which can be downloaded. All completed abstracts are to be submitted online via: http://www.asci-heart.org/abstract_online/index.php?chkYear=2008
	We regret that faxed abstracts will not be accepted.
	Oral presentation time will be 10 minutes for each subject: 7 minutes presentation and 3 minutes discussion.
	Poster presentations may be of scientific or educational exhibit Poster presentation is back board type display only. Computer presentation or illumination will not be accepted.
	All accepted abstracts may be included in ASCI 2008 Conference program booklet and website. Therefore, submission of abstracts constitutes the authors' consent for publication of abstracts.
	Please ensure the correctness of your abstract as abstract will be published as submitted; i.e. any error appearing in the submitted abstract will appear in the published book or website.
	All authors will be notified by 15 March 2008 regarding the outcome of their submissions.
	All presenting authors must register for the conference.
	All authors who have accepted oral and poster presentations will be required to submit their presentations and poster presentations in pdf format as well , to allow participants to download the presentations from the ASCI website ,at or after the meeting


	Font: Times New Roman, regular, only
	Size: 10 points only
	Single space and justify the text at the left margin only
	Limit the content to 250 words
	Do not include any references in the abstract
	Author or Authors' Names: Initial(s) of first name(s), family name. Use first initial followed by last name. Omit degrees. Place an asterisk (*) after the name of the author presenting the paper. On a separate line, type as succinctly as possible the names of institutions and countries. Corresponding author must include his/her e-mail address in the abstract submission form.
	Organise the content as follow Background/Aim Methods Results Conclusion except in case presentation.


	All abstracts submitted will be acknowledged through email . Please contact the Conference Secretariat if you do not receive the acknowledgement email.
	The Judges decisions are final.
	The organising committee reserves the right to make changes to all oral and poster presentation schedules.
	Presenting authors will receive an email notification on abstract acceptance
